For those seeking financial aid for their education, scholarship applications must be submitted by June 1st for the fall term and by November 1st for the winter or spring term each year. These scholarships can be utilized to cover various expenses such as tuition, textbooks, fees, accommodation, and other living costs. The funds are transferred directly to the institution where the student is pursuing full-time studies.
This scholarship, based on financial need, is open to the spouses or offspring of Washington workers who have been permanently incapacitated due to a workplace injury in Washington State, resulting in their inability to resume work (a pension under the claim) or their demise. The financial aid is accessible to students enrolled in undergraduate college programs, technical schools, or other accredited institutions.
