Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects
The California branch of the Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects (AAAEA-CA) is committed to promoting education. Each year, the Association offers scholarships and paid internships to eligible students who apply individually. The AAAEA-CA Board reviews all applications for these awards and internships. While neither the scholarship nor the internship is guaranteed, the funding provided may increase the chances of securing an internship. If an internship application is not successful, the funds allocated for it will be given as a cash scholarship instead.
The awards are open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students studying engineering, architecture, or computer science/information technology, with a preference for undergraduate students. Incoming freshmen who plan to pursue higher education in these fields are also eligible for the scholarship. The aim is to encourage students to consider careers in engineering, architecture, and computer science/information technology, and to strengthen the relationship between the Association and the Arab American community.
The number and value of the scholarships are determined annually based on the funds raised by the Organization. The AAAEA-CA Board ensures a fair selection and evaluation process. The scholarship and/or paid internship are presented at the Association's annual event.
