NSPS Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by National Society of Professional Surveyors
Applicants who are eligible must reside in or be enrolled in an educational institution within the United States or its territories, in accordance with the specific criteria outlined in our Memorandums of Understanding (MOU’s) with our benefactors.
GUIDELINES FOR FILLING OUT THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Ensure that the application is filled out either by typing or by writing in a clear and legible manner. Only fully completed applications that are signed and accompanied by all necessary documents will be taken into consideration. The following items should be included with the filled-out application form.
- A certified copy of your transcripts from Spring 2025 and a copy of your transcripts from Fall 2025.
- Three original recommendation letters from individuals who are not related to you. One of these letters must be from a faculty member of your current institution. All letters must be signed and addressed to the Scholarship Selection Committee at the address provided below.
- A personal letter of introduction addressed to the NSPS Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee, not exceeding 850 words on a single-spaced page, explaining your reasons for choosing your current field of study and any plans to continue your education beyond your current degree program. The letter should also detail your participation in community and school activities, any awards or honors you have received, your career aspirations, any significant financial hardships you are facing, and why you believe you should be chosen for the scholarship. The use of Artificial Intelligence for composition is not allowed.
- A photocopy of your driver’s license or other State-Issued ID (both front and back).
- A copy of the course syllabus or program course catalog showing the specific course or subjects required by the Scholarship
IMPORTANT: THE APPLICATION AND ALL ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 5:00 PM EASTERN ON FEBRUARY 2, 2026.
