Regional Focus Scholarship

Each academic year CHF designates specific focus areas; for 2024–2025 the priorities are Medical programs, Maritime, and Education. This award is available to students already eligible for the CHF College or Vocational scholarships. It is intended to encourage career paths that directly benefit regional communities.

Barney Uhart Memorial Scholarship
The Barney Uhart Memorial Scholarship is a competitive award for upper-level undergraduates and graduate students that includes both funding and practical experience. Awardees participate in a paid summer internship over two summers as part of the program. In addition to internship compensation, recipients may receive substantial CHF scholarship funding and support for travel and lodging related to the internship. The program is intended to provide hands-on career preparation alongside financial support.

Alyeska Alaska Native Scholarship

Applicants must first be approved for a CHF College, Vocational, or Graduate Scholarship to be considered. Funding for this scholarship is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants. This award is targeted to encourage careers in the energy sector.
