United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by U.S. JCI Senate Foundation
Introduction
The United States JCI Senate Foundation offers scholarship grants to qualifying U.S. high school seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education. Award amounts vary depending on the type of program the recipient will attend, and funds must be applied toward educational costs during the first year of full-time study immediately after high school graduation. Scholarship checks are issued in the recipient’s name and are disbursed directly to the recipient’s chosen institution.
Scholarship Awards
- Graduating high school seniors who will enroll in an accredited college or university within the United States are eligible for grants of $1,500 or $2,000.
- Graduating seniors who will attend an accredited vocational, technical, or trade school program are eligible for $1,000 scholarships.
- The Foundation determines the number of awards granted each year. For the 2026 graduating class, the United States JCI Senate Foundation will award fifty (50) scholarships.
- Awards must be used for tuition and other educational expenses during the first year of full-time study immediately following high school graduation. Checks will be made payable to the recipient and delivered directly to the educational institution selected by the recipient.

Application Instructions
1. The preferred format for the application is a MICROSOFT WORD–COMPATIBLE FILE. The application must be typed in black ink/font and printed single-sided.
2. On every page of the application packet, neatly hand-print your name and the page number in ink at the top right corner. Start numbering with the checklist as page 1, the photo page as page 2, and continue sequentially through the rest of the application and attachments. If recommendation letters or transcripts are submitted in sealed envelopes, label each envelope with its correct page number so the chairperson can insert them in order. Staple the entire packet in the upper-left corner.
3. Provide an active, working e-mail address on your application.
4. All required documents must be included in a single mailing. Materials submitted in separate mailings will NOT be accepted.
5. Applications are reviewed by evaluators outside your local area. Do not use unexplained acronyms for organizations, events, or awards. If a name is not self-explanatory, include a brief description (for example: Oak City REACH — community program to feed the homeless; J. Smith Award — Top Female Tennis Player).
6. NO ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Completed application packets must be postmarked and mailed by January 12, 2026.
